I'm lucky enough to own a couple of kayaks and occasionally manage to escape the day-to-day grind sat on top of the big blue. Living in such a rural area has its benefits. Sometimes I take a friend out to explore the Cornish coasts with me, and when we stop off on a secret beach we take a moment to litter pick. I like to think that every tiny piece I pick up might have had a much uglier story if I had left it there for an unknowing creature to find first.
